So. I have lost 45 pounds since the beginning of the year. I have 35 left to go. I’m at the point I don’t really care how long the 35 takes me now, I’ll just keep working at it, because I can buy a pants in a size 12

In two weeks I’m having a small afternoon party… first one I’ve had in about six years. Have been cleaning & decluttering.

Friday I signed up to do a 5k on October 12th. I’ve never in my life run anywhere for any reason. Ok, short distances at work for crisis situations but on purpose? For “fun”? Nope! So I am starting a C25K program.

I’m thinking it might put a dent in those last 35 pounds too…

And one more thing that’s changing? Quitting smoking… Quit date is August 12.

Good thing I am stubborn…
