I feel accomplished and proud.

Sunday, Tuesday, and Thursday I did what I describe as “Week 0.5” of the couch to 5k program.  Week 1 has you run for 60 seconds, then walk for 90.  So on Sunday, when I set out to do Week 1, Day 1 I found that I could not jog for 60 seconds… so I did 30 seconds with twice managing 45 seconds.  That’s when I decided I would be doing week 0.5.

Tuesday I ran 45 seconds each time I was supposed to run and the last two times I did the full 60.

Thursday I did 60 seconds the first two times, 45 the next three, and 60 for the last two.

I’ve decided to do every other day so today I did Week 1, Day 1 and ran the full 60 seconds each time.

I have surprised myself!
